Gym Leader Challenge Format

• The Expanded Format card pool (Black & White onwards) is legal.
• Your deck can only contain one type (color) of Pokémon (dual-type Pokémon are allowed in either deck).
• Only one of each card with the same name* is allowed in a deck, except for Basic Energy.
• Banned Cards:
• All ACE SPEC cards
• All Pokémon with a Rule Box** (e.g. Pokémon EX, GX, V, BREAK, Radiant Pokémon, Prism Stars)
• Chip-Chip Ice Axe (SM–Unbroken Bonds, 165/214)
• Double Colorless Energy (SM–Shining Legends, 69/73, and all other versions)
• Duskull (SM–Cosmic Eclipse 83/236)
• Forest of Giant Plants (XY–Ancient Origins, 74/98)
  
• Hiker (SM–Celestial Storm, 133/168, SM–Hidden Fates, SV85/SV94)
  
• Kyogre (SwSh–Shining Fates, 21/72)
  
• Lysandre’s Trump Card (XY–Phantom Forces, 99/119, 118/119)
• Marshadow (SM–Shining Legends 45/73, Promo SM85)
• Oranguru (SM–Ultra Prism, 114/156)
• Pokemon Research Lab (SM–Unified Minds, 205/236)
• Raikou (SwSh–Vivid Voltage, 50/185)
• Twin Energy (SwSh–Rebel Clash, 174/192, 209/192)

*Similar to Expanded Format rules, you can either play Lysandre OR Boss's Orders in your deck, not both. The same goes for Professor Juniper, Professor Sycamore, and Professor's Research; you can only play one of the three.

**Ancient Traits are NOT considered Rule Boxes so those Pokémon are legal for Gym Leader Challenge.
